Former Seaforth Fall Fair ambassador competes
against 8o in fair ambassador competition at CNE
By Susan Hundertmark
Expositor Editor
After winning last
year's ambassador contest
at the Seaforth Fall Fair
and the District 8
ambassador contest for
Huron and Perth Counties
in April, Anita
Kreutzwiser, of RR 4
Walton packed her bags
last week for the Canadian
National Exhibition
(CNE) this past weekend.
"We had to go prepared
to win since we have to
stay in Toronto for two
weeks following the
competition if we win,"
she said before leaving.
"I think Anita's going to
do well at the CNE," said
Gwen Good, organizer of
the ambassador
competition in Seaforth.
Kreutzwiser was one of
80 fair ambassadors
competing in Toronto.
As District 8 winner,
she has been attending
fairs throughout Huron
and Perth since the spring
fair in Clinton, including
fairs in Zurich, Listowel
and Mitchell on Labour
Day.
"It's been busy but 1
like every bit it, along
with meeting new people,"
she said.
She is the first
ambassador from Seaforth
to win the district
competition during the
five years it's been held.
However, Jasmine
Foreman was first runner-
up two years ago.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
With September
approaching, this could be a
verse to enjoy.
• Shine like a candle,
Shine like a star,
Shine at the place,
In the space where you arc.
Show to the world.
A face that is bright,
Where there is darkness,
Let there be light.
