Relay For Life
j LAM UP IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER
"Tracy's Go -Getters
rr
I became involved with the Cancer Society Relay For Life, after being diagnosed with
cancer in November 2002, and 1 am happy to say that I have been cancer -free as of
February 2003.
We decided to enter Relay For Life because everyone is touched by cancer in some
way and this was a fun way for family and friends to contribute. We joined Relay For
Life last year for the first time. it was so exciting to see everyone striving for the
same goal, to cure cancer. 1 am happy to report that our team, Tracy's Go -Getters
raised the most money. i believe that finding a cure for this devastating disease is our
ultimate goal with the help of my amazing friends and large family .
We came up with our team name because my name is Tracy and our team is made
up of about 15 family, friends and children who will do anything to get a job done. We
are sure to have even more members this year after everyone hears how much fun
we had. -submitted by: Tracy Lee
