is responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and
underground distribution systems up to 27.6 kV. The successful
candidate will receive all necessary training to achieve
certification as a Journeyman Powerline Technician. Applicants
must meet the following requirements:
a) Demonstrate safe work habits.
h) Be in excellent physical condition.
c) Minimum grade 12 education
d) Valid DZ or AZ Driver's Licence.
c) Enjoy working outdoors and in all types of weather conditions.
f) Be available for on-call duty, occasional overtime, and
emergency call -outs.
g) Pass a job specific medical examination.
Wages start at $14.20 per hour. Conditions of work will be in
accordance with the current Collective Agreement, with a full
range of benefits.

commercial/industrial services, and assisting with materials
management. Duties include preparation of designs, estimates,
material forecasts, surveying and staking, coordinating with
internal and external parties, and assisting with project
management. Applicants must meet the following requirements:
a) Minimum College Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Technology and eligible for certification as a CET or CTech
with OACETT.
h) Valid Driver's Licence.
c) Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Autocad.
d) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
c) Pass a job specific medical examination.
Knowledge of mapping systems, protection coordination
software, and SCADA systems would be a definite asset. Wages
will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, with a
full range of benefits.
