On Wednesday, April 14, Zone Commander Shirley Chalmers and Zone Secretary Russ Berry attended the Hensall Legion meeting. Zone Commander Shirley conducted the nominations and elections followed by the installation of officers for the coming year assisted by the Zone Secretary. At Hensall United Church, the Christ Candle was lit by Bill Gibson. Pastor Les Hills read the scripture and gave the sermon "Behind Locked Doors." The offering was received by Pat Veal and Donna Smale. Lauralee Schnieder played the organ for the Ministry of Song. There will be a beef supper at Hensall United Church on Wednesday, April 21 from 5pm to 7pm. There will be a Covenanting Service for Pastor Les Hills at Hensall United Church on Sunday May 2 at 7 p.m. The Hensall and Community Horticultural Society will meet on Wednesday, April 28 at 7:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Hensall United Church. Guest speaker Martin Quinn will discuss elements of the garden.
