Deaths ANDREWS, Edward Ernest: On' Thursday, April 1, 2004, at Norvilla Nursing Home, Norwich, in his 94th year. Edward Andrews, formerly of Harpurhey and Seaforth, was a member of 1.0.0.F., Seaforth and an elder and choir member of First Presbyterian Church. Loving hus- band of the late Janet Andrews (1985). Survived by his loving and devoted daughter Betty Jean Dykstra and son-in-law Garry. Jim is survived by his beloved wife Rona and together they were blessed with eleven children: Jim (Lynn) of Mississauga, John (Karen) of Toronto, Rona Lynn (Brian Ferguson) of Kemble, Warren (Tandara) of Ottawa, Rosemary (Frank) Edwards, Paul (Genny), Margaret (John) Northfield, all of Niagara Falls, Susan (Paul) Baiano of Stevensville, the late Stephen (1959), the late Frederick (1995) (Terry) of Stevensville and Patrick (Doris) of Mississauga. He leaves to cherish his memory his grand- children: Sara, James D., Stephanie, Yvann, Cassidy, John, Hazel, Michael, Shawn (Agnes), Amanda, Britynn, Rona May. Ayesha, James T., Aziza, Zyra, Stephen, Andrew, Jonathan, David, Kenneth, Troy, Rona. Laura, Elaine, Katie, Frederick, Jessica, Chad and Lauren and his great-grandson Safe. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, grand -nieces and grand -nephews. In addition to his two sons, Jim was predeceased by his parents John and Blliana, his brother Conrad, his sisters Clare, Betty and Terry and his brothers-in- law Walt Ennett, Mac MacArthur, Art Warren, Art Devereaux, Tom Melady and Lew Morgan. Jim was born on February 28, 1920 in Seaforth, Ontario, on a dairy farm, one of eight children. Jim started a career in food processing, joining Canadian Canners Ltd., in Exeter in 1939. Jim served Canada in the RCAF from 1941-1945, serving in many different capacities. He was an accomplished flight instructor, navigator and flight lieutenant and flew both Liberators and Fortresses. He was based in the Azores for two years with RAF squadron 220 as bombing leader with the Atlantic Coastal Command.
