The Blues started off with a strong game but Ducks flew over the Blues to win the gamel0-2. Ducks gpals were scored Tyler listman, Brent Vincent, Colin Campbell, Dan Schenk, Braden Connolly, Brandon Thompson and Deklan Cronin. The Blues goals were scored by Jordan Currie and Cody Janmaat. McGrath wins Jr. C title with Ironmen By Sara Campbell Expositor Staff A Seaforth man will be going on to the All -Ontario Jr. 'C' hockey league finals with the Wingham Ironmen. Greg McGrath, 18, son of Larry and Dianne, was part of the Ironmen's first Western Jr. `C' Hockey League championship win in 21 years and will play in the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) Jr. finals. "It was definitely experience," said McGrath, who is in his second year as defensemen for the Ironmen. "It was a very exciting, game and I'm glad to have been a part of it." "We'll need to win eight more games before we can make it to the finals," said McGrath, prior to the Ironmen's first game. "We're staying confident but we are not going into this too confident." However, game one of the quarter -finals in Wingham on Friday saw the Ironmen take a 4-2 loss. On Sunday, game two was held in Stayner and once again the Siskins beat the Ironmen 3-0 but the Wingham team is still in the game. Game three was played on Tuesday, March 16 in Wingham but no scores were available before press time. Game four will be played on Thursday, March 18 at 8:30 p.m. in Stayner.
