Queen's Hotel owner Sarah Morgan said she's happy to hear that the bylaw was defeated and considers the 9- 8 vote by county council a victory. Icy hydro lines and high winds caused power outages for short periods of time in Seaforth and area both on Friday and Monday. An hour- long power outage in Seaforth over the lunch hour and then another outage at 3 p.m. for 20 minutes were the only inconvenience.
