Miss Alva Kelly, of Bay City,
Mich., is visiting for some time with
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Reynolds, of
Usborne.
Agricultural implements valued at
$13,628,000 were exported by Can-
adian manufacturers during the
twelve months ended March 31, 1926
creating a record.
In referring to the death of Mrs.
M. Ellwood at her home in Darling -
ford, Man., we mentioned that her
maiden name was Miss Maggie Hogg.
It should have been Logg.
Mrs. A. Marshall is at present
visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Ii..
C.. Wilkin, of St. Thomas. Mrs.
Marshall expects to leave Saturday
to spend the winter at Calgary, Alta.
Several from town motored to
London Monday evening and took
in the London -Niagara Falls hockey
game at the arena. The game was
a tie 3-3 going twenty minutes over-
time.
Miss Martha Hunter has returned
to Exeter having recovered from a
recent operation performed in Tor-
onto. For several weeks she has
been visiting with friends at Brook-
lyn, Ont.
Mr. Jos. 14ieidinger, of Zurich, has
purchased the residence of the late
Mrs. Dearing on the north side of
Huron St., the transaction being put
through by Messrs. Gladman R

District Branch of the Ontario Plow-
man's Association will be held in
the Town Hall, Exeter, Saturday,
December 18th, at 2.30 o'clock for
the purpose of receiving reports
election of officers for the ensuing
year and any other business. All
interested in plowing should attend.

Mr. T. Harrison, of Stephen, de-
livered five pigs which were six
nnonths and one day old and which
averaged 217 lbs each. They were
purebred Tamworths and had been
pen fed for five' months. Mr. Her,.

pigs from Mr. George . Gould, of
Essex.
Rev. J. L. Stewart, B. A., vice-
president of the West China Union
University, who is home on furlough
occupied the pulpit of James St. Un-
itedchurch on Sunday morning and
Main St. United church in the even-
ing. He spoke of the missionary
efforts in West China and gave in-
spirational and instructive adds eat-
es. In the afternoon he spoke to
the James St. Sunday School. Rev.
C. F. Clark, Ph.B., chairman of
Huron Presbytery conducted theser-
vice in Main St. church in the morn-
