We are pleased to learn that Mrs.
Joe. McDonald, wltn has been very
ill at the hone of her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Green for four weeks
is making a very remarkable re-
covery. We will be pleased tb' see
her out again.
Mr. C. Patterson, of Detroit. mo-
tored over and spent the week -end
with Mr. and Mrs. Rd, Quance. He
was accompanied home by Mrs. Pat-
terson and little daughter 'Marion.

weeks in Exeter..

Hicks will hold an auction sale of
farm .stock and cattle on Wednes-
lay of next 'week on Lot 7, N.T.R.

gave a lecture entitled "Wagon
Loads of Gold" in the Main St.

Huroudale Women's Institute. The
lecture sparkled with many brilliant
gems and Mr. Donnelly delivered it
in his own splendid style. Unfor-
tunately, owing to many other at-
tractions the attendance was not as
large as the lecture deserved,
