Remembrance Day
Above, Seaforth legion president Ann
Wood reads the names of local
veterans from the Second World War
during Tuesday's Remembrance Day
ceremony, which rain caused to be
held indoors at the legion this year. At
top left, piper Mary Anne Bone leads a
parade of veterans to St. Thomas
Anglican Church for a Remembrance
Day service Sunday morning while at
bottom left, local citizens lay wreaths
during Tuesday's Remembrance Day
ceremony at the Legion.
Native peoples were most
advanced culture on earth
From Page 4
advanced people ever to live
on earth. They appreciated
that if they looked after the
earth, the earth would look
after them. They left nothing
but healthy land, air and
water to future generations.
The originals had minimal
anxiety as they learned to
understand their
environment. The tribes
could meet and celebrate life
because they had a common
purpose - the preservation of
a healthy environment.
The medicine man was
responsible for relieving the
anxiety of each individual -
even then they trusted the
herbs, more than the
medicine man. They also
introduced ceremonies and
rituals that were passed on
and changed as their
ecosystem changed.
The young would learn to
feel comfortable with each
other by challenging
themselves to be a better
runner, canoeist, archer,
whatever. A hunting party
with anxiety would not be
very successful. The animals
would be aware of their
anxiety and make themselves
scarce.
Remember Canada is not a
country - it is the northern
part of North America, a
continent. The southern part
of the continent is proving
there is a high price to pay
for stimulating anxiety. They
live in a world of fear - but
unlike us they lash out with a
big army which will mean
only one thing - retaliation.
North Americans have not
learned to walk away.
A vote for politicians who
survive by stimulating
anxiety results in more
systems' control of a new
generation and then the next
generation, leading to the
evolution of a police state.
All each individual has to
do is learn to accept
responsibility for his own
positive and negative feelings
and never try to control
another person's feelings.
Over a lifetime, 1 have
learned there are four
emotional laws.
1. I am only responsible for
me - to feel well.
2. I can only change me -
to feel well.
3. Every action causes a
reaction - to feel well.
4. I cannot harm myself or
another person or his
property or I won't feel well.

Sotieties die out,
individuals move on if they
project the positive qualities
inherited from their ancestors
and pass only these on to
future generations.
I have to say nay to the
vote - I cannot have others
speak for me.
