MACLEAN
I would like to thank God for our 58
years together and for His loving
care these last years of Norman's
life. We had some beautiful days
and some difficult but through all of
them Norman never complained
and could always make me smile.
He had such a terrific sense of
humour. Jesus was our Savior and
the hoty spirit our guide. Thank you
Rod Doig, Norman's trusted life-
long friend and Joyce Doig, our
friend who was there so many times
for us even in Norman's last hours.
Thank you both. I would like to
thank Steve Hildebrand and Ellie
Van Bergen for such a beautiful ser-
vice, it was a great tribute. To Marty
and_ Mary Close Wolfe, our niece
and her husband who have always
been here when we needed them,
thanks for the love and visits. To our
great grandchildren Olivia
Ferderber, Maddison Parent and
Charlotte Ferderber who sang for
their beloved Grampa. Thanks to
Ken Smith for playing the bagpipes
which completed the service, also
to the honourary pallbearers Ed
James, Rod Doig, Jde Dick, Dave
Mclnally, Andy Lammerant and
Walter Armes. Box and Smith
Funeral Chapel, Christopher Smith
- thank you so much for making
everything happen so smoothly.
Thanks to Dr. Rooyakkers, a real
professional and friend. And to
nurse Dan Bachert for all his advise
and dedication. Many thanks go to
St. Elizabeth for all their extraordi-
nary love and support - Pam
Gordon, Deanna Rose, Cheri
Forde, Gail Brownridge, Dianne
Cooke, Dale Anne McKichan. To
nurse Shelly Boughen who was
with him at the end. Thanks also to
Joyce Hugill who faithfully came
every two weeks to take Norman's
blood. Also to the congregation of
the Egmondville United Church and
the children who made him a beau-
tiful butterfly, it hung on the fireplace
mantel for Norman to see. Thanks
also to the Masonic Lodge. Anne
St. Marie for all her help when I
needed her and helping in the
kitchen. Betty Upshall for all your
help. Mary Longstaff for all your
large kettles of soup. Grace
Campbell who provided the deli-
cious lunch at our home. To very
special friends and their families -
Dilys Finnigan, Margaret
Stephenson and Ricky Ver Bakel
who were always there for us. To all
the neighbours who would come to
the house whenever I needed their
help, but especially Rosemary
Latham and her son Eddy, Bev
Brown, Tom Fehr, Blanche and
Gerald Moir, Cal Caldwell and
Sheila McCowan our hairdresser
and our friend. To all of you who
gave to our special Teen Challenge,
who support alcohol and drug
abuse, they are doing such a great
Job and a 75% chance of recovery
after 5 years. Norman and I have
two graduates Ian and Ron. Also for
everyone who gave to Parkinson
Society Canada, Seaforth
Community Hospital and the Bethel
Bible - thank you. Thanks for all the
beautiful flowers and the delicious
food delivered to our home. Special
thanks to Elizabeth Berry for her
inspiration. To all the family in
Scotland for their calls, and to all
our family, thanks so much for all'
your love and support. For every-
one throughout the years that have
offered their kindness, phone calls,
visits and encouragement...the list
is endless. I am truly grateful•God

gave me support. God bless all of
you. - Betty MacLean xxoo 47-51x1
