The publication of this popular annual edition means we are entering a time of new beginnings as couples, and their families and friends, begin to plan for the special wedding day and the beginning of a wonderful life together. This publication is a joint effort of four area newspapers and the advertisers who make it possible. Many long hours go into the production of this publication but it's a source of pride for the people who put it together. The publication of Bridal Planner 2002 is a blend of local stories and pictures about real people, who may be your neighbours, and national stories which provide brides and grooms the chance to plan their weddings better. Ten local journalists have contributed to this publication. The writers come from The Goderich Signal -Star, The Huron Expositor (Seaforth), The Lucknow Sentinel, The Clinton News -Record and The Lakeshore Advance. Many of the national stories come from the News Canada news service, especially from writer Kathy Scott, who has covered almost every angle of the planning of a wedding. Bridal Planner 2002 is a supplement to The Goderich Signal -Star, The Clinton News -Record, The Huron Expositor (Seaforth) and The Lakeshore Advance. A wedding should be an enjoyable time for a couple embarking upon a new life.
