46. In Memoriam
BETTLES: In 'loving memory of my
wife Barbara (Roney) who passed
away December 27, 1998.
My heart is full of memories,
I treasure them with care,
The way you had to leave me,
Will always seem unfair,
Sad is the heart that loves you,
Silent the tears that fall,
Living my life without you,
Is the hardest part of all.
In all that life has given me,
And all that is left to do,
I will never, ever have a greater gift,
Than the times I spent with you.
- Always remembered, always
loved, Cub 46-52-1
RYAN: In loving memory of Paul
Raphael Ryan, July 1, 1970 -
December 29, 1989.
There was no time to say goodbye,
The day you went away.
You left us all so suddenly,
Twelve years ago today.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name,
All we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
It tears could build a stairway,
And heartache make a lane,
We'd walk that path to Heaven,
And bring you home.again.
Our family chain is broken,
Nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
Our chain will link again,
We pray to God in Heaven, Paul,
That you are with Him there.
And know we love and miss you,
Every single day.
- Lovingly remembered by Dad,
Mom, Brothers, Sisters and their
Families. 46-52x1

Q. What are some of the `normal' signs and symptoms of
grief?
A. Everyone experiences grief differently and there arc very
wide ranges of "normal" behaviours. Some report feelings of
distress and deep emotional suffering. Others refer to longing
and loneliness as primary symptoms.
*Questions asked during bereavement classes are answered
here by the editor of AfterLoss, the monthly grief -recovery

`Remember,
it is the
thought
that counts'
From Paige 0
was donated by the staff
and students.
Sometimes in this chaotic
world, we forget what
things really stand for. It is
t(x) easy to just go out and
buy gifts and not put any
thought or emotion into
them. I have learned 'that it
really doesn't matter how
much a gift costs as long as
the person you are giving it
to, likes it.
Remember, it is the
thought that counts.
This year, 1 have been
fortunate enough to be in a
shop class my first semester
so I have used it to make
some of my presents.
Remember that Christmas
is a joyous time. It is a time
to spend with friends and
family, a time to be thankful
for what you have and a
time to share with everyone
that is special to you.
