Getting in a final round...
Jim Clark, putting, said his wife has said this will be his last round of golf in a season that has
stretched out more than a month longer than normal because of unusually warm weather.
Clark and partner, Jack Cronsberry came from Palmerston to the Seaforth Golf and Country
Club Saturday to play their final game after opening up the season here in the spring as well.
Cents continue winning streak
Following up last
weekend's back -to -school
victories, the Cents hosted
Parkhill Friday night in a
Morenz division battle for
second place.
Seaforth was first on the
board as rookie Josh Demo
faked a shot from the point,
walked past a Parkhill
defender and blasted in a
shot from the hash marks.

Centenaires
The Stars tied it up on a
powerplay and went ahead 2-
1 early in the second
winning a one-on-one rush.
The Cents' powerplay
answered back with 40
seconds Left in the period.
Mike Murray deked his
way into the Stars' zone and
flipped a wrist shot through
the goalie's legs.
Midway through the third,
Scott Henderson sped away
from the pack winning a race
to a loose puck in the neutral
zone tucking in the winner
on a breakaway.
Despite their third win in a
row, coach Jason Papple was
not completely impressed
with the victory.
"We played only. as well as
we had to tonight. It was a
sloppy game, but the win
was important."
The victory put the Cents
four points .up, on the Stars
with a game in hand.
Saturday night the
powerful Exeter Hawks
came to town.

With only two losses all
season, the high scoring
Hawks proved to be an
enormous challenge for the
Centenaires.
The Hawks' top line, who
have combined for more than
80 points this season, went to
work early catching the
Cents by surprise and
building up a 3-0 first period
lead.
The Cents rebounded early
in the second, as Jeff
McEwen found Scott
Henderson open at the
backdoor for a powerplay
goal.
The Cents closed the gap
to 3-2 when Jeff MacCuspey
picked up a puqk on a
turnover and walked in
alone, midway through the
second.
The Hawks opened it up
again however on a sweeper
shot from the blue line. Both
teams added third -period
goals as the Cents three
game win streak game to an
end.
The Cents go on the road
for three games in Lucan,
Mitchell and Port Stanley.
With love and
Best Wishes
