Lingelbach's eight
years with plaque
The annual Thanksgiving
dinner meeting of the
Canadian Council of the
Blind, Bluewater chapter
was held Oct. 16 at
Londesboro United Church.
Following grace which
was sung by Ken Lingelbach
and Charlie Dakin, a
delicious turkey supper was
enjoyed by 31 members and
their escorts.
Two fitting readings were
given by Ken Lingelbach
after which roll call was
answered by those present
with a turkey call.
Secretary and treasurer
reports were given
respectively by Ken
Lingelbach and grocery
tapes were passed on to
Shirley Carter for
accounting.
A heartfelt reading was
given by Verne Dakin
followed by Grant Ellis
offering many singalong
selections on his guitar.

Lingelbach then handed the
meeting over to Evelyn
Carrot who installed the new
executive for next year.
