Parsons and attended the funeral of the late Donald Stanlake.' Mrs. Chas. Several auto loads from town at- tended the W.M.S. convention in Clinton on Tuesday. The Presby- tery also met the same day in "Clin- ton. Mr. R. N. Rowe has added to his funeral equipment a new up-to-date casket lowering device that is both attractive and of the most modern construction. Mr. Thos. Acheson, who recently underwent an operation. in Victoria hospital, London, for cataract over the eye, returned home Saturday and is improving nicely. Miss Alma Harding and Miss Hill of. Benmilier, spent the week -end with the former's parents. They as- sisted in putting on allay at Hen salt last Friday evening. • Mr. George Westcott, of Hsborne, who underwent an operation in Vic- toria.
