Correspondents Boarding zone... Services led Shirley Luther of the Salvation Army led the Tuesday church service with Belva Fuss as volunteer pianist. Marg Cole was in Wednesday and played cards with several residents. Thursday afternoon ice cream cones were served. An excellent turnout of staff attended the information session about the accreditation process. With bur expansion, many new staff have been hired who have not been through the process and they were pleased to gain a better understanding of it. Legion facilities repaired Repairs to the Branch facilities have been progressingdespite the heat of the summer. The floor in the upstairs hall has been refinished and is ready for use again. The air conditioning and smoke eater downstairs have been repaired and it's nice, cool and smokefree again. The second annual Branch 156 golf tournament is being held on Aug. 25. Please sign up on the sports board at the Branch as soon as possible. Members and non-members can play at this event. A date to keep in mind is the Branch's Sunday Dinner for the public on Sept. 16. Branch and Auxiliary members have received an invitation to visit the Seaforth Museum at any time. The museum is on the second floor at the town hall. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
