Wildfong hosting camp
for hockey conditioning
From Pogo 1
now coaches are looking for
hard work and dedication.
"It's the very reason we
come here," said Muskett,
recognizing that Seaforth
produces players who work
hard.
"You surround yourself
with good people and that's
what you get. That's what
you've got here," said
Muscutt.
"You need good people in
the community to make this
go. We've got them," said
Nesbitt of the school which
is up 30 kids this year and
was up by about 50 already
last year.
Last year's goalie program
in the school saw 11 kids and
is now full this year with 25.
Muscutt said McLlwain
and other successful Seaforth
players from the past are
giving back to the
community.
"Because of that, more
kids are realizing their
dreams can come true," said
Muscutt. "I'm honoured to
be a part of that. To ride on
the coattails of Dave
McLlwain, Rem Murray and
Mike Watt."
Now, he said the Mudbugs
can build on what McLlwain
started and provide
opportunities the school was
training the town's hockey
players for.
Now, Wildfong is starting
the cycle over again that
could take Seaforth even
farther with what started with
the McLlwain Hockey
