You slipped away without goodbye, To be with Dad and Toni in Heaven way up high. God gave us a wonderful mother, More precious than wealth untold, He sprinkled her hair with silver, And molded her heart of gold. He needed a new star in Heaven, A beautiful light to shine. So from out of this great big world he chose, That wonderful mother of mine. Though her warm and friendly smile is gone forever, And her hand we cannot touch, We still have the memory of the mom we loved so much. We know you're watching over us, From Heaven up above, Your presence we can always feel, But most of all your love. We think of you in silence, We often speak your name, But all we have are memories, And your picture in a frame. We never asked for a miracle, But today just one would do, To have the front door open And see you walking through. There will always be heartache, And often a silent tear, But always precious memories, Of the days when you were here. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives, Until we meet again. Forever in our hearts and lovingly remembered by your children Barbara, Cheryl, Sandra and Paul, Donna and Neil, Ken and Waneeta, grandchildren, Mike, Nick, Tommy and Timmy. 46-28x1 BROCK: In loving memory of my husband and best friend Roy, who passed away July 10, 1995. Someone remembers, someone cares, Your name is whispered in my prayers, A smile, a thought, a tear sincere, So often you seem so near. Life goes on and years go by, But thoughts of you will never die. - Forever missed, loved and remem- bered by wife Anna. 46-28-1 47. Ryan 345-2560 e61 - St. Columban Family, relatives, neighbours and friends ¥athered at the home of Ken and Anne Murray to celebrate the couple's 25th wedding anniversary. Christa, Jeff, Karen, Kevin and Melissa were on hand to welcome all who came to celebrate with their parents. Bill and Martha Murray, Erica, Dianne, Ian, Greg and Randy spent Canada Day weekend in Ottawa where they attended the wedding of Martha's niece. They visited the Parliament buildings and enjoyed the Canada Day celebrations on Parliament Hill. They also visisted with Keith and Patty Murray, Kelly, Sarah, Brendan and Blake. Christa Murray spent some time recently travelling with friends in Illinois. They also travelled to St. Louis, Missouri dere they enjoyed a concert by the Beach Boys. Coming back into Canada via the Bluewater Bridge in Sarnia, they were just in time to witness a magnificent display of fireworks on both sides of the bridge marking Canada Day. Mary Ryan has retdrned from a weekend visit to Toronto where she was joined by her sisters Helen Muir, of Stratford, Julia Jarecsni, of Merlin and Lucy Walsh Northcote, of Toronto. They attended the Saturday evening performance of Mamma Mia, which was better than all the reviews. Lucy is the supervisor for the make-up, hair and wigs for the Toronto production. The grand finale of the show is surprising. Just when you think it is over - it's not. The cast is excellent and sing ABBA better than ABBA. Children attending Vacation Bible School The Hensall shuffleboard scores for July 3 are as follows: (five games) Alice Thiel 454, Bill Coleman 434, Theo Vandenboom 407, Lorne Archer 407, Edna Dietz 398, George Racey 398. Chuck Mallette was the organist with Cecil Pepper and Helen MacLean receiving the offering. Twenty-eight children attended Vacation Bible School last week. Thanks goes to all the helpers in this successful project. Flowers in the church were in memory of the late Dorothy Britnell. The sympathy of the community goes to the family and friends of Mrs Britnell. Ry Liz Sangster
