46. In Memoriam
MALONE: In loving memory of
Gary, May 22, 1985 and Fred, May
21, 1976.
The month of May comes with sad
regret,
The month, the days, we will never
forget.
You slipped away without a good-
bye,
But our memories of you will never
die.
- Sadly missed by your family 46-
20x1c
ELLIOTT: There is a place,
In our hearts,
Where memories live,
And love lives on.
Remembering Gordon Elliott with
love, who died May 14, 1996.
- Robert and Sharon, Emily and
Scott, Helen and Graeme, and
Mary 46-20x1
VAN LOON: When tomorrow starts
without me,
And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your
eyes
All filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the
way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me as
much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me
I know you'll miss me too.
But whentomorrow starts without
me please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my
name and took me by the hand; and
said my place was ready in Heaven
far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind all
those I dearty love.
In memory of a loving husband,
father and papa. Words can't
express the emptiness in our hearts
this past year. Not a day goes by
that we don't think of your smiling
face, your quirky little habits and
comy expressions. Even though
your life on earth was cut short, you
taught us enough about living life to
the fullest to last our entire lifetime.
We miss you dearty, but feel your
love around us each and every day.
With loving thoughts, Jo; Tem, Ray,
Jared and Lauren; Debbie, Dale
and Andrew; Jan; Jeff; and Sandi.

TEATERO, Leo James: Died May
20th, 1993. In memory of my hus-
band and best friend.
Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible
comfort of feeling safe with a per-
son.
Having neither to weigh thoughts,
nor measure words,
But tgpour them all out, just as they
are, -'
Chaff and grain together, knowing
that a faithful hand will take and sift
them.
Keep what is worth keeping and
then, with a breath of kindness blow
the rest away.
- Always remembered. To my Leo.
Frances Teatero 46-20-1
BEUERMAN: In loving memory for
Harvey Beuerman who passed
away May 23, 1995, and for Brent
Beuerman who passed away April
17, 1985.
Tears
Tears are delightful expressions,
Of happiness, sorrow and love.
Made to release deep emotion,
A special gift sent from above.
When recalling, sweet thoughts of a
loved one,
Midst memories of days of old,
A tear finds a cheek in the moon-
light,
As thoughts reach deep in the soul.
In moments of anger, frustrations
and grief,
When happy thoughts flee like a
thief,
Running away with our hopes and
our cares
A tear brings welcomed relief.
Song and beauty bring health to the
soul,
Through all the days of our lives,
Deepest feelings of thanks are
expressed,
Through tears that appear in our
eyes.
Be grateful for tears, for their pres-
ence,
Restores our most glorious
thoughts,
Of laughter, compassion and loving,
The most precious gifts of all.
- Love from Ron, Mary, Dennis,
Evan and Brittany 46-20-1
SEGEREN, James Anthony: In
loving memory of our beloved Jim,
who left us suddenly May 15, 1998.
Three years since you left us Jim,
Without saying goodbye.
How we miss your love,
How we miss your smile.
But today, tomorrow, our whole life
through,
We will always love and remember
you.
For those of you who have a son,
Love him all you may,
For how we wish with all our hearts,
That we had ours today.
Jim, for all of us you will never be
gone,
With the love and happy memories
you have given us,
We will carry on.
- Lovingly remembered by your
family 46-20-1
MCNICHOL: In loving memory of a
dear husband, father, grandfather
and great grandfather, Ralph
McNichol, who left us one year ago,
May 23, 2000.
The day that you died,
Our hearts were split in two,
One side filled with memories.
The other died with you.
We think of you in silence,
We always speak your name,
And all we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
We often lay awake at night,
When the world is fast asleep,
And take a walk down memory
lane,
With tears upon our cheeks.
Remembering you is easy,
We do it every day,
But missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.
- Sadly missed and forever loved.
Your wife Anna and all the children.

Protect
yourself
from the sun
The Canadian Cancer
Society wants to remind
you to protect yourself
from over exposure of
sunlight when you are
participating in outdoor
sports arid activities this
summer. Sunlight contains
ultraviolet (UV) rays that
can harm your skin and
eyes, causing premature
aging and skin cancer.
* Reduce your sun
exposure between 11 a.m.
and 4 p.m. when the sun's
rays are the strongest.
* Seek shade or create
your own shade. Enjoy the
cool shade of a tree
especially between the
hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
* Slip on loose -fitting,
tightly woven, lightweight
clothing that covers your
arms and legs.
* Slap on a wide -brimmed
hat to cover your face and
neck.
* Slop on a sunscreen with
an SPF #15 or higher. It's
important to take steps to
avoid the sun at peak hours,
seek shade and cover up
before relying on sunscreen
for protection. Think of
sunscreen as a back-up -
not a first defence - in your
protection plan. •
