Q. Recently widowed, I'm noticing some of my women
friends act 'funny' when I'm around them and their
husbands. How could 1 be a threat? This really hurts my
feelings.
A. There are many reasons for these feelings. Sometimes, it is
because they are insecure in their own marriages, but often it's
because they see you as a widow now and worry about how
they will survive a loss like yours. You represent something
they'd rather not think about. Spend more time with those who
support you and make new friends among those who also
have been widowed.

46. in Memoriam
ANDERSON: In loving memory of
our dear son and brother Luke who
was tragically taken from us April 26,
1997.
Family ties are lasting bonds,
That are woven in each heart.
To keep a family close in thought
Together or apart.
There is nothing so treasured
And nothing so rare.
As the love that children and parents
can share.
Through joy and through laughter,
Through sorrow and tears.
We developed a closeness,
That will last through the years.
The love that we shared,
Didn't need to be spoken.
It's a wonderful bond,
That can never be broken.
God called your name softly.
So only you could hear.
And no one heard the footsteps,
Of the angels drawing near.
We never asked for a miracle,
But today just one would do.
To have the front door open
And see you walking through.
Forever in our hearts, love Mom,
Dad, Kyle, Adam and Cody 46-17-1
DOLMAGE: In loving memory of
Donald Alexander, who passed away
April 27, 1977.
Memories are tender thoughts,
That somehow live and last,
A vision from another time,
A memory from the past.
Much is stirred within our hearts,
As life goes marching by,
But as our lives are changing,
Memories will never die.
- Lovingly remembered by Mom,
Dad, Brothers, Sisters and their
Families 46-17-1
