Students participate
in Easter trivia contest
and chocolate egg hunt
SDHS Bear Facts
Students have been busy the past month with Seaforth
District High School's annual chocolate bar fundraiser.
The campaign is now winding down and showing
successful results. Congratulations go out to homeroom 9B
for selling more cases of chocolate than their goal. Each
homeroom will receive points according to how many
individual boxes of chocolates students sold. The homeroom
racc race is close now.
Thc senior homerooms at the top better keep an eye out
for the juniors who are attempting to take over the lead.
Thc Student's Council hosted a spring barbeque April 7 at
Tucker's Mcat Shop.
Although the rain and wind seemed to doom the council
early in the day, it soon passed and the afternoon was quite
pleasant. with many individuals stopping to support the
school.
This week, students have been participating in Easter
activities. An "Easter Trivia Contest" was completed in
homerooms for extra points in that competition. A colouring
contest is taking place for all students at lunch hour and
later in the week, there will be games involving egg
noodles, hard boiled eggs and, of course, a traditional
chocolate egg hunt.
