Residents enjoy Mexican Fiesta
As of press time, we have
several residents ill with
colds. Although we are not
"closed" we are asking
families to exercise caution
when visiting. It is a good
idea to call ahead.
Residents enjoyed all our
celebrations for Valentines
Day.
An afternoon of love ,
songs with Carol Carter had
everyone singing some
favourite old tunes.
An afaternoon wine and
cheese party included
several guests and family
members. Delicious cherry
tarts with whip cream topped
off the afternoon.
The Friendship Circle
from the First Presbyterian
Church provided lovely
Valentine favours to place at
everyone's place in the
dining room on Valentine's
Day. Residents all enjoyed a
special treat of chocolateV
valentine hearts as well.
Our Mexican Fiesta
certainly warmed up a
wintry afternoon, with
special decorations, a
travelogue to Ixtapa,
Colonial Mexico and the
Yukatan Peninsula and of
course, some tasty tacos and
dip to top off the celebration.
Next month, we are
looking forward to our
Tribute to Hawaii.
Our musical entertainment
included Carol Carter, Bill
Gibson and Marian Rose,
Paul the Fiddler and Carol
LeBeau and Bill Pepper.
Rev. Dino Salvador, Rev.
Sheila Macgregor as well as
members of the Bethel Bible
church conducted our
worship services during
February.
Several residents enjoyed
an afternoon of bowling at
Starlight Lanes.
Our Pct Therapy program
continues to be enjoyed as
well as visits every Tuesday
from our massage therapist,
Tanya Hallam.
Students from the Grade 7
class from Seaforth Public
School are also welcomed
each Tuesday morning as
residents try to improve their
scores at armchair bowling.
Our pots of crocus sold to
support the C.N.I.B. are now
in full bloom, as well as the
Seaforth Manor Nursing Home
first of our amaryllis bulbs
planted by our Gardening
Club.
More than 100 pots of
crocus were sold to staff,
families and community
members.
Our fundraiser for the
Heart and Stroke Foundation
was a great success with
over $160 being raised in
our "Paint the Town Red"
campaign.

be completing her co-
operative education credits
