Q. My seven year old nephew died as a result of an auto
accident. 1 was rather shocked when my sister gave
permission for his organs to be transplanted. is this a
common practice?
A. Yes. The family is its sorrow can often feel better knowing
that another life may be saved as a result of the donation of the
organs of the child. For some, this promotes a feeling that their
tragedy has had some meaning, some potential for good.
