Huron County Christmas Bureau.

Foundation." The first
Advent candle was lit by
Gary Kyle.
Residents enjoy
reflexology display
Queensway's volunteer
auxiliary met Tuesday
morning discussing Meals on
Wheels scheduling and special
events they will be assisting
with.
Rev. Pirie Mitchell of the
Hensall United Church led
worship service Tuesday
afternoon with Belva Fuss as
pianist. In the evening, the
Christian Reform Singers
presented a beautiful program
of Christmas music.
The annual Family
Christmas Dinner for nursing
home residents took place
Wednesday evening. Staff and
auxiliary volunteers served
residents and guests after
long-time volunteer, Klaas
Van Wieren asked the
blessing.
Bill Gibson provided
Christmas music on piano
throughout dinner.
Gillian Thomas of Centralia
gave an informative
reflexology demonstration
Thursday afternoon for
residents. Earl Stephen and
Ruby Triebner were the
willing models on whom
Gillian demonstrated her
skills.
Clare Masse, Andrew Rau
and Bob Gilmore entertained
in the Retirement Home
Lounge Friday evening for a
receptive group.
Sunday afternoon, residents,
staff, family and friends filled
Queensway to enjoy the music
of John Neaman and his band.
A staff members Trudee
Balsdon, Diane Volland and
Sharon Carter stayed after
their shift to enjoy the music
and help get residents up
dancing. Betty Simmons,
auxiliary volunteer assisted
with refreshments.
Residents and staff are
looking forward to the coming
Christmas Talent Show, Dec.
19. So far we have singers,
cloggers, fiddlers, pianists,.
harhnonica player and a stand-
up comic. If any family
member has a talent they'd
like to share there is still time
to call Carol.
