Residents enjoy picnic in Mitchell Seaforth Manor Retirment Home This week started out with 19 residents and staff going to the park in Mitchell for a picnic. Some of us strolled over to see the animals beside the park. It was a beautiful afternoon. We then took a long drive the "back way" to Seaforth. By the time we got home it was raining. On Tuesday, we had seniors in for lunch from the community. In the afternoon we danced away to the music of the Kountry Korners Band, out on our patio. Many toes were tapping. Doris Ryan, Viola Lawson, Olive Little and Rose Ryan were just a few that were dancing to the great music. Kate Aslin returned from vacation to read to our residents on Wednesday afternoons again. We enjoy listening to the stories that Kate reads to us. We would like to send get well wishes out to Marg Horton, Susan Laudenbach, and Stella Johnston, who are in hospital. Once again we enjoyed a barbecue outside on Thursday for lunch. Ron Murray has been coming in to our Retirement Home twice a week to help with activities and to play euchre with our residents.
