Visiting with Randy were his parents, Bill and Martha Murray and family, Erica, Dianne, Ian and Greg, were his grandparents, Ray and Vera Murray. Parishioners gathered for coffee, cake and a social time in the parish hall to mark the occasion. Displays of interest included pictures of the first brick church which was destroyed by fire in 1909 and which was replaced by the present building. The ladies of the St. Columban Catholic Womens League are busy preparing for their annual June Social which will be held in the St. Columban Hall on June 13 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come for an evening of special draws, bake table, penny sale and lots of entertainment. Students at St. Columban School participated in a baseball tournament held recently in Stratford. Although the tournament was shortened by the rain, most of the six teams participating managed to play two games each. By Mary C.
