46. In Memoriam
AUSTIN: In loving memory of Bill,
who passed away one year ago, on
Easter Sunday, April 23, 2000.
We remember you;
Your kindness to us and to others;
Your unselfish and helpful ways;
Your love of nature -
flowers, trees, birds and animals;
Cutting the grass,
Going for rides.
Your warm and friendly smile.
We remember you; miss you and
love you.
- The Britton and Austin families. 46-

HARRISON: In loving memory of a
dear wife and mother, Marlene, who
passed away two years ago, April
20, 1999.
When all is still and silent,
And sleep forsakes our eyes,
Our thoughts drift to a silent grave,
Where our dear wife and mother lies.
The years we had together,
Are forever in our hearts,
Your guiding light lives on for us,
Since we were forced apart.
I know you're watching over us,
From Heaven up above,
Your presence we can always feel,
But most of all your love.
You left us all with aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere,
We never have, we never will.
Forget you.
- Forever remembered, forever loved
by Lloyd, Bev, Deb and families 46-
16x1cc
CULLIGAN: In memory of a special
husband, father, grandfather and
great grandfather, Ike, who passed
away one year ago on April 24,
2000.
Though his smile is gone forever,
And his hand we cannot touch,
Still we have the memory of the one
we loved so much.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name,
But all we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your resting place we visit,
And put flowers with care.
But no one knows the heartache,
As we turn and leave you there.
- Never forgotten by your loving fam-
ily. We miss you. 46-16-1
WILLIAMS: In loving memory of
Frank Williams who died on April
23rd 1986.
Sadly missed but never forgotten. -
Eileen Williams, Dublin, Ontario 46-

WILLIAMS: In loving memory of a
dear Dad and Grandpa, Frank, who
passed away April 23rd, 1986.
The month, the day we will never for-
get,
You slipped away without goodbye,
But memories of you will never die.
- Sadly missed by Pat, Charlene,
Alanah, Connor and Elysse Delaney
and Pat Williams 46-16x1
MACDONALD: In loving memory of
Marian, dear mother and grandmoth-
er who passed away 4 years ago,
April 24, 1997.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, still very dear.
We hold you close within our heart,
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we meet again.

A THANK YOU TO SEAFORTH
FIREMEN
Our mini van was involved in an
accident Friday morning. The driver
and his son received excellent care.
Our van was on the way to a sports -
card show in Brantford. When the
accident occurred, needless to say,
100,000 cards plus equipment
spread over 3 fields, made a mess.
The firemen arrived with boxes,
pails, bags and spread out over the
field. Three other people stopped
and helped too which we greatly
appreciated. The Firemen made
jokes over the different teams and
players on the cards which helped
keep us in a lighter mood. Two
hours and 30 great guys later the
mess was cleaned up and in our
other van. The OPP were very nice
and helpful. I'd also like to thank
Terry Cooper, our daughter, Sean
and Brad, our special kids, Kirk
Purdy, son-in-law and Matt, special
kid. Thanks again. That's the kind of`
town Seaforth is, always ready to
dig in and help. - Verne and'Audrey

ROSS
The family of the late Jean Ross
would like to express our sincere
"Thanks" for the kindness shown
after the sudden loss of our Mother,
Gram and Great -Gram. The outpour-
ing of words of comfort and offers of
assistance were and are greatly
appreciated. So many people to
thank - To all those who made trips
to the house with food; who made
donations in Mom's memory; to
those who sent flowers; to Adrian
Brasher for always being close by;
Officer J.E. Poulter for his caring and
compassionate manner while deal-
ing with a difficult situation; to the
McGavin and Cardiff families for all
their help throughout this time.
Thanks too, to Neil and Marie for
opening their home to family and
friends after the funeral. (And for
the Sheep Dip). Special thanks to
the neighbours and friends who
Mom knew she could count on if
she needed anything (that is if she
ever asked). We would also like to
sincerely thank Steve Hildebrand;
Neil McGavin and Rev. Nick
Vandermey for their heartfelt eulo-
gies. They each embodied Mom's
spirit so eloquently. We would like
to express our appreciation to Ruth
and Ross at the Whitney-Ribey
Funeral Home for making a trying
time easier. Thanks to the ladies at
the Legion Branch 156 for providing
a lovely luncheon, and to those
Legion members who attended the
service on Wed. night. Mom and
Dad truly enjoyed.their time living in
Seaforth, making many, many
enduring friendships. We will truly
miss Mom's smile and words of
encouragement but will remember
the lessons She taught us and will
try to live our lives with the same
unselfish and joyful outlook as she
did. Your kindness will always be
remembered. - Heather and Bruce;
