Community Centres each
Wednesday from 1:30 - 4
p.m. Everyone is welcome to
come out and enjoy an
afternoon of fun and
fellowship.

CPR recertification
The Seaforth Co-operative
Children's Centre will be
hosting a CPR re-
certification program on Feb.
21 from 6-10 p.m.
Registration fee will be $45
and interested participants
must call 527-0682 to
register.
Block Parent volunteers
sought
The Seaforth Co-operative
Children's Centre board of
Recreation preview
directors is looking for
interested individuals to sit
on. the Block Parent
committee.
The committee meets two
times per year (spring and
fall). If anyone is interested
in this volunteer position
who is concerned of the
general safety. of the
community is asked to call
the children's centre at 527-
0682.
World Day of Prayer
Northside United Church
will he hosting the World
Day of Prayer on March 2 at
7:30 pm.
This event will feature the
men's choir and everyone is
welcome. Daycare will be
provided.
Free Public Skating
The Seaforth and District
Community Centres invites
everyone to their free public
skating each Sunday
afternoon from 2:30-4 p.m. ,
sponsored by local
businesses and organizations.
The community centres
will be hosting extra skating
times during the March
Break. Please watch the
community, calendar for
dates and times.

CWL Fun Night on tonight
Ladies from our
pariah community
are invited to the
Catholic Women's
Dublin
League Annual Fun Night, tonight,
Feb. 21 (snowdate is Feb. 22) at the
Mitchell and District Community
Centre. It is hosted by St. Patrick's,
Dublin; St. Vincent de Paul; St.
Brigid's and St. Patrick's, Kinkora.
Registration is at 6:30 p.m.
Entertainment is by Fr. Moe
Charbonneau, Fr. Peter Keller and
The Swiss choir. Catholic Women's
League members are asked to bring
cheese and crackers or cutup fruit.

A lighted flag display box
in memory of Alex Muir,
Gordon Muir and Don Muir
was donated to the Branch by
Gordon Balfour, Waterloo.
A Remembrance Wall and
Museum Center is to be
erected at Juno Beach,
France. Bricks are available
for this wall at $250 each.
Larger or smaller
donations for the center can
be made by family and
friends. Branch 156 has
made a donation to buy a
Krick.
For information or an
order form, contact Branch
156. The bricks would have
the name of the service man,
family or organization on it.
Juno Beach is where the
Canadian forces landed on D
Day and the days that
followed.
Volunteers arc still needed
to prepare the Friday evening
meals and you sign up on the
hoard at the Branch. The
next meal is on March 3.
There will be a Sunday
dinner on Mother's Day,
May 13.
The Annual Duck Race is
scheduled for May 26 at 2 ,
p.m. Tickets already
available at the Branch.
The Public Speaking
contest will be held on Feb.
25 at 2 p.m. Registration is at
1:30 p.m.
At the going down of the
