dining out program
Seaforth Manor Retirement Home
Residents were raising money for the Heart and Stroke
Foundation by donating $2 for a scratch ticket with a
chance to win a prize.
On Jan. 10, we hadlthe Huron Strings come in and play
for our PJ Party. Many were up dancing, we even did the
"Bird Dance."
We have been enjoying going to the Legion to play
euchre every Monday afternoon. We also have our monthly
euchre party in our home, that community seniors attend as
well.
Once a month we take two residents to the dining -out
programs in Blyth, Clinton and Seaforth. This is a program
that our residents enjoy very much. Everett Scrimgeour,
George Wright, Elsie Dinsmore, Marjorie Willis and Mary
McEwan are just a few that enjoy the program.
We have a busy month of February coming ahead. Make
sure to mark your calendar for the following events: Feb.
20, Euchre party, 1 p.m.; Feb. 27, Mexican Fiesta with
Swinging Seniors, 1:30 p.m., Feb. 28th, Candlelight
Dinner.
. We would like to welcome Alice Stiles to our home.

The "Music
Mondays," which are
being held at the St.
Columban Parish •
Hall on Monday
afternoons in
February from 1:30
to 3:30 p.m., are
proving to be quite a hit.
Local musicians gather to
provide music for those who
wish to come and enjoy an
afternoon of listening,
dancing and visiting.
Some of the local talent
brought their guitars and
fiddles while Ivan Norris
brought his banjo. Tea and
cookies were served and a
good social time was
enjoyed by all. Everyone is
invited to attend the
remaining Monday
afternoons. Bring your
musical instruments and
your friends.
