HomeMy WebLinkAboutHuron Expositor, 2001-01-31, Page 13OPP continue RIDE checks A 25 -year-old Morris Township man had his licence suspended for 24 hours after registering a "warn" on an alcotest. He was stopped at a RIDE check on Mill Street in Brussels on Jan. 27 at 2:45 a.m. Police discovered the man was already a suspended driver because of unpaid fines. OPP also conducted a RIDE check in Goderich on Sunday evening and warn motorists they will continue to operate RIDE checks throughout the year. RIDE checks, roadside spot checks for drinking drivers, can be held at any time but police intensify their efforts during the Christmas season.
