Mrs. Gordon Davis and son Don- ald, of Toronto are here owing to the illness of the former's father, Mr. J. R. McDonald, who is -improv- ing nicely. Mrs. Wm. J. Chappel, who , has been visiting her father Mr. Henry Reynolds for the past tkvo weeks re- turned to her .home " in Dundas on Thursday. The latter part of last week was extremely mild and wet. The roads for several days were in bad condi- tion. The weather again turned cold on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. F. Lackey and two children, of Creelinan, Sask., are visiting for a few days with Mrs. Creelman's aunts, Mrs. F. Gill and Mrs. Hutchinson. Mrs. E. A. Follick returned home Tuesday evening from London where she has been waiting on her cousin the late Thomas J. Guymer, who passed away on Sunday, Mrs. J. V. Mollard, who recently met with an automobile accident, and has been confined 'to Victoria Hospital, London, has sufficiently recovered as to be able to return home.
