The weather during the past two
weeks has been.. anything but agree-
able but the moisturehas meant a
great deal to the comaiiunity. Owing
to the dry summer farmers were
housing their cattle with poor pros-
pects for sufficient 'water supply.
Wells were dry that had not been
known togo try in fifty years. The
rain
and snow will help to iiriprove
conde i
tions. Much. general complaint
has been heard of the weather and
heard of the weather this fall and
it may be said that the fall of 1925

that hav

thankful? . If We; Were living in
Alabazna where, thousands were
rendered homeless by the effedtd of
a terrific storm," or in the State' of
Massachusetts, where storm wreck-
ed the whole town of Woburn, which
will have to be entirely rebuilt;\ or
for instance in New York where a
gale at the rate of 85 .miles an hour
killed a nuinber of people. Count
your blessings and feel that while
our weather is not just that of mid-
summer it is not so bad but what it
Might be a great deal worse,
