Doug Anstert I Seaforth/Tuckersmith lead
hand): James Adkins. Dave Beirnes. Gary
Earl. Paul HuIIey. Carry Keifer, Hugh Nicol
and Joe -Ryan (equipment operators). All. arc
existing. positions with the exception of the
new position of lead hand for Seaforth and
Tuckersmith which was created by
combining the two departments to the
Tuckersmith works shed: The Seatorth works
department becomes a facility for Festival
Hydro: which officially begins operating the
former Seaforth PUC on Jan. 1 when the
town's sale of the .PUC to the Stratford
company takes effect.

the -,Seaforth. and District .Community
Centres. Murray McArter will continue as
manager .of the Brussles, Morn s and Grey
Community Centre and Lissa Berard will

Seaforth recreation department will no longer
exist in its current state. Seaforth recreation
•director. Marty Bedard. will remain as a full
time employee of. the community centre.
McLachlan . said how hoards and

that they will continue to operate similar

In administration. Janice Andrews will he
secretary receptionist, Connie Marion will he
tax and utility billing clerk, Lorraine Betties
will be accounts payable/receivable and
recreation mounting clerk. Barb Dalrymple
will he payroll/personnel clerk and drainage
administrator; and Cathy Garrick will be
planning and public works administrator.
Deputy Clerk Treasurer leaves
Donna White, Brussels administrator, .was .
hired as the deputy clerk treasurer for Huron
East but.has since taken a position with
North Huron as the financial manager.. .
' McLachlan said they now have to decide
whether or not to try splitting the work
between other senior stats' or looking to refill
the position.
• • Fire departments remain
While the transition hoard was originally
expected to make some change to fire
hotindaries and volunteer tire department
operations within Seaforth. Brussels and
Grey Township. the•board has since decided
to leave the operations as is for the time
being.
'They're not going to change anything for
the first year," said McLachlan. Any changes
will then have to he made by the new
municipal council.
New offices ready
Work is proceeding .on. schedule for the
new municipal offices in the current Seaforth
Town. Hall cite and was expected to be
complete,on Dec. 22. Et includes a lift to the
second floor. renovations to the offices. odthe
main floor and.changcs to the existing
council chambers.
The work is still being done within the
expected S200,O00 hudget. • .
- Staff started the•move back to the building
on Dec. 22.
