She was reading a book when the book started to glow and it started to get windy. All of a sudden it started to pull her into the book. She closed her eyes and when she opened them she was standing in the middle of a toy shop. Laura started to walk around. Laura heard a jingle of bells and she went toward the sound. Then she found the sound and what was making it. She was so surprised because she was staring at Santa Claus. Laura said, "What are you doing here?" Santa chuckled and said, "I'm shopping for Christmas presents." "But I thought your elves made all of the toys." said Laura.. "The ones we don't get made, I buy," said Santa. Then Laura started to help Santa pick out,the toys. Santa asked Laura if she wanted to go to the North Pole and help Santa and his elves wrap the presents. Laura said she would love to. When they got to the North Pole Laura couldn't believe her eyes, there were elves all over the place. When they went inside Laura saw Mrs. Claus knitting a sweater. When they were done wrapping the presents it was Christmas Eve. Laura helped load up the presents and hook up the reindeer. It was time to go. Laura was so excited because she would be riding with Santa. That night it was foggy and cold. 'Laura was glad to see Rudolgh. When every house was, done, Santa dropped off Laura at her house and tucked her into bed. In the morning Laura remembered it was Christmas. She was so excited. She ran down the stairs and wioke up her mom and dad. Whcn Laura was done opening all her presents and looking in her stocking she found a note Santa left. She read it and it said: Dear Laura, I hope, you had a fun time and I wish you a very Mcrry Christmas. - Love Santa. Laura showed • her parents the note and she had told them all about her adventure but they didn't believe a word she was saying. But Laura knew it really happened. Rudolph Just dive bets a coid ays until Christmas Once upon a time just five days before Christmas, Santa was in the workshop helping the elves with the last of the Christmas gifts. Suddenly Dasher came dashing in and exclaimed to Santa that Rudolph had come down with a cold! Santa jumped up and ran to ,the Reindeer Lounge, and sure enough there was Rudolph lying in bed with many boxes of Kleenex lying around him. "Oh no!" exclaimed Santa. "This.is not good, not good at all!" Rudolph couldn't stop sneezing and with one big, giant sneeze Rudolph's nose blew right out! That's right! Hig big, bright, red nose glowed no more It was just a plain, old nose! "Rudolph," cried Santa, "what do we do now?" "My nose will glow again," reassured Rudolph. "after my cold's gone. You'll have to find a replacement for this Christmas night." "A replacement! A replacement, we've only got five days till Christmas!"wailed Santa. But nothing could be done, they had no choice but to find a replacement. That day the elves posted ads for a backup reindeer. In just a few minutes all the reindeer had read an ad and were talking about it. They . all though they would get the job. Then Chipper, the smallest reindeer of all, read an ad. "I think I'll try to lead the sleigh," he said, and with that all the reindeer burst r It's a week before Christmas and in Santa's workshop the elves were hard at work finishing the toys. Santa was trying to get fat for the big night and the reindeer were practicing their flying to pull Santa's sleigh. But two elves were not doing their job. They were looking over some blueprints. The pair then went into the shed where Santa keeps his sleigh and started to build. The other elves were forbidden to go in the shed.
