The Unexpected Rudolpl,
Once upon a time way up in
the North Pole. lived a big fat
red suited, long bearded man.
You can probably guess who
I'm talking about, Santa!
Well it was Nov. 28 and
there was only 23 days left
until Christmas and that's a
big holiday! So of course the
reindeer had to start to
practice flying. Well I know.
that up in the town of Jingle
Bells things can get pretty
wild and that's exactly what
happened. All the reindeer
were flying in the sky pretty
good until all of a sudden
Dasher and Dancer, started to
fall and so did the rest of the
reindeer. They were all in one
big heap on the snow. Well
the only reindeer that got hurt
was the one on the bottom.
And the one on the hottom
was Rudolph. "Oh no!" yelled
Santa. "this is not good. We're
going to have to find another
reindeer to take over for
Rudolph!" "We're not going
to find another Rudolph." said
Tod. the elf. "as it is now we
only have 23 days until
Christmas!" "We're going to
have tryouts for anyone at
all!" said Santa. "Starting
tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. sharp!
Tod, you and your brothers go
out and start to post signs so
people know that there are
tryouts tomorrow. Hurry we
have plenty to do and no time
to do it!" Then Tod and his
brothers got plenty of signs
and went all over Jingle Bell
town putting them up. Santa
told all the elves that they
needed to get plenty of rest
for the auditions tomorrow,
everyone was judging because
it had to be the best.
In the morning Samuel and
Bang. the two strongest were
setting up the runway where
they were going to fly. "OK,"
said Santa, "We're going to
bring the contestants in the
judging station so be ready!"
"First up," said the announcer,
"is Stanley Rage." Stanley
flew 3 meters high and 2
meters far. "Next up will be
Sandra Bennett." She flew
about 7 feet high and 3 feet'
far. "OK," said the announcer,
"Last contestant! His name is
B.A.D." Well no one could
believe how far B.A.D. flew,
it was unbelievable! "Well, "
said Santa, "I think we all
know who is going io take
over for Rudolph!" "It is
going to be B.A.D.," said the
announcer. "Congratulations,"
said Santa. "Thank you all for
coming! Well then all you
reindeer better start to practice
flying," said Santa. "Then get
plenty of rest for Christmas.
So that's exactly what they
did.
That night B.A.D. was
trying to figure out a way how
to ruin Christmas to make
kids sad. I always hear of a
bad person in a Christmas
story and he sounds exactly
Iike....Oh no! It's the Grinch,
this is not good. I hope that
Santa finds out. I need to tell
Santa, but how? I can't go tell
him. Well then we are just
going to have to wait and find
out what happens!

Well it was 3 days before
Christmas and Tod was•
getting very suspicious of the
Grinch so he started to
inspect. When the reindeer
were gone out to practice he
went into the stall and he
found green hair. Then
something even weirder
happened. He found apiece of
paper that said, "My Way To
Ruin Christmas!" "Oh No."
said Tod, "I need to tell
someone, but who?" "Well the
only thing I can do is tell
Santa!"
So that's exactly what he
did. Santa and Tod made a
plan to make fake gifts so the
Grinch wouldn't wreck the
real ones. It only took them 4
hours to make all the fake
presents and only took 2 to
hide the real ones. Then they
went into the hospital to check
on Rudolph and found him
dancing around the room.
"Yes, this is great now you
can come with us on
Christmas Eve instead of the
Grinch! Please go and
practice flying but don't tell
anyone or let anyone see you
flying."
It was Christmas Eve and
they were all ready to go. But
they saw a green ugly person
coming out of the barn so
Santa had everything ready to
go. Then he started to call.
"Dasher and Dancer and
Prancer and Vixen and so on.
This is unbelievable.
Christmas is saved thanks to
Tod!"
Then from above they could
see the Grinch lying on the
ground crying!
