One day he decided he was too old to own a shop so h e closed up the store and found a tittle hut in the woods. He looked in the window to make sure nobody lived there. There wasn't anything inside so he brought all his things in. Suddenlyhe heard someone crying. He went to the next room and saw a tiny girl. He said to her, "Why are you crying little • girl?" She said to him, "I am an elf and have lost my family. My name is Tina. I miss my family. Will you help me find them?" "Well I guess" said the man. "Where did you see them last?" "I saw them last when we were collecting food for the winter near the big willow tree. When I saw a beautiful flower, I went over to it for a minute but when I came back they were gone. So I came here when it started to snow and here I am now and I don't know what to do." "Well where do you live?" said the man.. "I live in the old log cabin beside the big maple." "So how about we go over there and look." said the man. "O.K." said Tina. So they went to the old log cabin and looked inside and there they were. Suddenly a giant burst of light came and the man turned around and saw an angel She said "I am an angel sent by God. You are to go out on a special night and give presents to all - children and for your new job you shall have a new name, Santa Claus." "Then I will need a lot of help. WiII you help me elves?" "Of course we will help you. We shall start right now." And that is how Santa started his yearly delivery job and it all happened once upon a time. Rachel Jansen Gr. 4 ^`r e17e:_+ (fowl .J 74a,(44:2. Laura heard a jingle of bells and she went toward the sound. Then she found the sound and what was making it. She was so surprised because she was staring at Santa Claus. Laura said, "What are you doing here`'" Santa chuckled and said, "I'm shopping for Christmas presents." "But I thought your elves made all of the toys. said Laura. "The ones we don't get made, I One fell o buy," said Santa. Then Laura started to help Santa pick out the toys. Santa asked Laura if she wanted to go to the North Pole and help Santa and his elves wrap the presents. Laura said she would love to. When they got to the North Pole Laura couldn't believe her eyes, there were elves all over the place. When they went inside Laura saw Mrs. Claus knitting a sweater.
