Hmeless Christmas
A
Once upon a time, not a creature was
stirring not even a mouse...excuse me I
am a mouse and I am stirring. If I stop
stirring, the soup will stick to the
bottom of the pot. Oh well. then not a
creature was stirring but a mouse. There
was a little boy named Tom Thumb. He
was homeless and all he had was a dog.
He was being chased by some people so
he ran in a building. A man said to him,
"What are you doing?" Tom said. "I am
looking for a job." The man said. "I will
-give you a job but [ will only pay you
with potatoes." Tom accepted the job.
His job was to make toys with other
people. The people said -they would be
caroling on Christmas Eve. They
wantede to carol at Tom Thumb's
house. Since he did not have a house he
lied and said he lived in a big house on
331 Maple .Street. Since Tom was
making toys be stayed up all night
working on toys for the orphanage. The '
next morning he sneaked the toys to the
orphanged and they were very pleased. •
Then Tom thought he wouldn't have'a
Christmas because he was homeless.
Tom's dog felt bad so it set out to rind
Santa. But Santa found him. Tom's dog
said to Santa that Tom was homeless so
try to tind him. Santa said. 'Ho. ho ho.
nobody misses Christmas. let's-finc
Tom." When Santa found tom lying on•
a park bends Tom woke up and said.
"Santa is it really you'". Santa said.
"Yes. you have a family." The carolers
said they would let you he their ,on.
Tom said. "That would be the hest:"
"Then go to them Tom." said Santa.,
Tom went.to the carolers house and-
asked and they said its would he.
wonderful. So he came in and they all
celebrated Christmas together..

Johnny was afraicl Santa wouldn't come
if lie didn't believe ihejolly man was real
Once upon a time there was
a boy named Johnny and he
was about 7 years old. He did
not' believe in Santa.
It all started one day
when he was walking home
from school. he heard some
older kids talking and one of
them said that Santa was not
real. As he walked farther he
wondered if the boys •were
telling the truth. •
As he walked farther he
• saw a man sitting in an old
'rocking chair. The. man asked
Johnny to come and have
some eggnog with him. The
man asked the boy what his
name was. He said "Johnny."
Johnny asked the man what
his name was. the •. man
hesitated. '`Just -call me Bob."
"Do you believe in Santa'"
asked Johnny. "Why of
course I do." • said Bob.
"Well, I'd better be going;"
said Johnny. •
The next day - was
Christmas Eve and Johnny
was afraid that Santa Claus
was not coming. He saw the
man that he was talking to
before. He.got into his old
car and drove away.
Johnny played outside in
the snow, most of the day. He
wondered where Bob went.
When it started to get dark
Johnny went inside to eat
dinner. Then Johnny; and his
family -went-caroling: When --
they got back Johnny wentto
bed.
. At about 2:30 a.m. Johnny
heard something outside.
Then he snuck downstairs to
see what was going on. He
saw that therewas a man
sitting in Dad's recliner. The
man was singing, eating
cookies and drinking. milk.
As Johnny crept closer he
'recognized the man. It was
Bob! He ran over and said
"Bob. is it really you '" "Ho..
ho. ho: why yes it is." "Why
didn't you tell me?" -asked
