Theresa takker. Grade c: TI,e wolf posessSanta Claus Once upon a time there lived a big. bad ugly mean. old wolf. He was always greedy. This year since Mr. Wolf didn't get any presents last year. he decided that he was going to steal the "Three Little Pigs" presents. Mr. Wolf though .that this was a great idea because now he would get double the presents. Boy, was he wrong! It was Christmas Eve and poor little wolf was sitting at home all alone with a cup of tea. He only had to wait ten more minutes until he would go on his adventure. Finally he set off in a red and white • suit looking identical. to Santa. There he was standing right in front of the first little pig's house. He pulled a ladder up to the wall and climbed down the chimney, but there were no presents to be seen. There wasn't even a pig. Boy, was the wolf mad! The wolf decided that he was going to try the next little pig's house. He got to the next little pig's house, and climbed up onto the roof. Once again, he climbed down the chimney to see if there were any presents. There was nothing to be seen but, a couch and a chair. Mr.- Wolf was getting veryunpatient, and stormed out of the door, and slammed it behind him. There was one more house to try. Finally when he got there he tried to open The door. because of the last incidence. The door was unlocked and the wolf walked in when he realized what he was doing was wrong. The wolf went back `to his house with a frown. When he walked in he turned that frown upside down. He did that because the three little pigs where in the wolf's house with a whole bunch of presents. The wolf was so happy he couldn't believe his eyes. After opening all their presents, Mr. Wolf was going to cook.a turkey dinner for the pigs and that day they decided to call a truce. That night when the wolf went for a_walk he met up with Santa. 'Santa said. "That was a good choice you made. Then Santa gave the wolf a package that was the first gift that the wolf had got from Santa. From that day on the wolf was a good boy. One week before Christmas Eve. the power went off and'the elves and Santa had to make most of • the gifts yet and paint them by hand because they were behind. This all had to be done in .a week. The elves almost refused because the painting would be messy so. they did it very slowly and carefully until the power came back on. The days flew by quickly and th"erc was still no electricity in Jingle Bells (that is where Santa lives,) Time was running out and it was almost Christmas Eve so they had to finish the toys. light or no light. Then Todd, the youngest elf said; "Why doesn't Rudolph come in and his nose would shine and it would light up the workshop?" Santa thought that it was a good idea but hoped his nose would not run out. that was highly unlikely so he tried. it anyway. Todd and Santa went through the stable and iS • f1 4 47,7 went to the separate stable out in a different barn. Rudolph stayed there so he would not keep. the rest of the reindeer awake with his bright red nose. When they found him his nose was green and that meant that he was sick. That had never. .happened before so Santa was not quite sure. Todd brought Rudolph to the workshop while Santa got chicken noodle soup and medicine to see if that would help Rudolph get better. They waited awhile tosee if it would work but nothing changed. so then Todd looked around the workshop. He remembered that he was • making a large gift for Rudolph. He did not think that he would be able to finish it 'and give it to Rudolph for Christmas. It Was a charger so his nose would shine brighter on Christmas Eve and Santa could see more. He was going lb give it to him next Christmas Eve so he would have time to finish it. He thought that he could get it done if he got some help \ 1 ,,J .1111. • •14 May a circle of family, friends and happiness surround you during this magical season. Ernest and George. If Rudolph's nose we still green on Christmas Eve then when the tooth. fairy is making, her rounds. she would think that the light is green so. she would speed up and there might be a collision in the air. If that happens then happiness wouldn't be brought to the girls and.boys around the world. Later that night the .electricity came back on and Todd, Ernest and george finished the charger. They were up all night working on it. When it was'done, they woke up Santa (meanwhile he had no clue that they were up all night working on a Christmas present) and They went to the barn. They put Rudolph on the charger and it was -the perfect fit, Ten minutes later Rudolph started to wake up from the heat that was coming off his nose.*Santa was so pleased with his elves that he picked them as his top three elves. It was. 8:00 a.m. on 'Christmas Eve and all the elves were put to work. They 1 4 1 were putting the final changes on the gifts. putting them through an electric dryer. wrapping them. and finally putting them' in Santa's sleigh so he could. soon be on his way. The elves finished at 6.00 p.m. with only an hour break for Punch.' Occasionally. an elf would go and get a snack or a glass of milk or water. Then Santa had his big feast before he left Jingle Bells to bring gifts to girls and boys around the world . on Christmas morning. After dinner. Mrs. Claus sent Santa away on his sleigh with some cookies- and a thermos of milk just in case he didn't get any cookies or milk from the children. He might' get hungry. from house to house (although he almost always got cookies and milk at every house) but Santa wouldn't take that chance. That night Santa went to millions of houses and., brought smiles to girls and boys around the world.
