Hensall offices move to Zurich
Kippen East Women's
institute held their
November meeting at the
home of Mona Aldcrdice. ,
President. Grace Drummond
welcomed everyone and had
two readings about "One
Vote." The Ode was sung
and the Collect repeated.
Eight members and one
visitor answered the roll call
with "A World -Wide Woman
I Admire." After tfie minutes
were read Grace Drummond
gave Iter report on the arca.
convention and Mona
Aldcrdice brought us up to
speed on the District Board
meeting. The Christmas .
meeting will he held on Dec.
12 at 12:30 p.m.
Grace Drummond showed
a picturesque video, "Over
Canada," which went from
ocean to oceati to ocean.
Ruby Triebner read a
story. Marlene Bell had a
poem and joke, "We're Not
Dead Yet." Helen MacLean
gave us a lesson on Huron
County through a contest.
Courtesy remarks were given
by Rena Caldwell. Lunch
was provided by Dorothy '
Cooper and Lil McLellan.
The Hensall Municipal
Office will be closed
effective December 21st.
' The office will be re -located
to the Bluewater Municipal
Office (formerly Hay
Township Office) in Zurich.
The final meeting of the
Hensall Village Council will
bc December 11. Following
the meeting, there will be a
social time and presentations
will he made to the council
members. Residents are

for annual Christmas events
Seaforth Manor Nursing Home
Residents are looking
forward to our Family
Christmas Banquet next
weeks as they prepare to
entertain family members and
friends at a festive evening to
kick-off the Christmas
programs.
Our Advent services have
also begun, leading up to the
Christmas season.
Residents will be gathering
in the living room this week to
decorate the Christmas tree, as
we look forward to the groups
and children who will be in to
entertain the residents over the
next few weeks.
We would like to'wish Rev.
Rob Hiscox all the best as he
will be leaving after
Christmas, for a parish in
Kincardine. Rob has been our
Pastoral Care Advisor for the
last few years and everyone
will miss his visits and
services here.
During the past month, we
enjoyed piano music courtesy
of Carol Carter, Bill Gibson
and Marian Rose.
Gloria Wilbee sang for a
wonderful afternoon of
entertainment. We also
welcomed Paul the Fiddler
and Carol LeBeau and Bill
Pepper to play fiddle and
piano music.
Our events for our "Tribute
to Italy." were much enjoyed.
Several residents headed
out to the Santa Claus parade.
Our church services were
provided by Rev. Sheila
Macgregor, Rev. Judith
Springett, Rev. Doreen
Canavan. Rev. Dino Salvador.
Rev. Nick Vandermey and
Rev. Doug Comveau. Rev.
Sheila Macgregor also led an
interesting Bible study as
residents prepared to celebrate
Advent.

Flynn - Gray
Baty Lyn Gray and NOrriS Michael William Flynn were
wilted in marridge on August 26, 2000 at Northside United
Church, Seaforth. Rev. ieila Macgregor officiated. Brow is
the daughter of Marlyn Gray and the (ate Gary Gray of
Seaforth Norris is the son of Donna Flynn and the (ate
Hugh Flynn of Londesboro.
Maids of honour were, Sandra Dak and Dana Dalton of
Seaforth, friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jamie
Somerville, Seaforth, friend of the bride, Paulette Gray,
Ingersoll, sister -in -jaw of the bride. Suzanne Coyne,
Kitchener, friend of the bride. i1my Puflau, Ganano ue,
fnend of the bride, Dawn Graham, Goderid, sister of the
groom. Terry Clark, Capreol, sista off tlegroom.
