Doll, Gift and Craft Show On Dec. 2 and 3. come out and enjoy the Annual Farm Toy. Sports Cards. Teddy Bear. Doll. Gift and Craft Show hosted by the Seaforth Agricultural Society. This is one of the biggest shows of its kind and will be held at the Seaforth. Agriplex. Seaforth and District Community Centre and the Seaforth District High School at 10 a.m. until 4:30 -p.m. Admission fee will be _ S4 per person over the age of 10. Happy Citizens Christmas Meeting • The Seaforth Happy Citizens will he hosting their Christmas meeting at .the Seaforth Legion Branch 156 on Thursday. Dec. 7 at noon. Cards will follow. Minor Sports Council Bingo The Seaforth,Minor Sports Council invites everyone out to our weekly bingo .held each Monday -evening at the Seaforth and District Community Centres. Ticket sales begin at 6:30. p.m.. and bingo begins at 7:15. On Monday. Dec. 11 our annual Turkey Bingo.will be held. All prize money will remain the same. the jackpot will he 51.000 and 12 turkeys will he drawn throughout the night. Farmers to hold parade of decorated farm machinery St. Columban Jason Ryan spent the weekend at home with his parents. Gerry and Karen Its an. sister and brother. Amanda and Jeremy. • The Grade 4;5 and 6 Youth Group spent - • some time this past Fnday prepanngfor Advent and Christmas. Along with leaders. Nancy Kale and Glenda Murray. they.. made Advent wreaths for their homessand sponge painted paper to make the stable and background.for a Christmas crib. There will be'some excitementcoming up to the north of St. Columban on Dec, 9 at 5 p.m. as the first annual "Sawmill Road Farmers' Christmas Parade'. of decorated farm machinery gets underway. The parade will start at 5:00 p.m. from the farm of Gord and Irma Pryce and proceed along Sawmill Road to Beechwood Line to the Hullett-McKillop Line and back to the Pryce farm. This is something our residents really enjoy and look forward w every other week. Our sympathy is extended out to the family and friends of Isabel Murray..She will be greatly missed. •Our staff and residents have worked -very hard to put together our float for the Seaforth Santa Claus parade. We are happy to have hint .with us: Legion to hold 48th Christmas Concert Seaforth Legion News The 48th Annual Legion Children's Chnstmas Concert will be held on Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. Contact Barbara Scou at 527- t 787. Essays and Posters Remembrance contest have been on display at the library. Prizes will be distributed at the local schools this week. The Ladies. Auxiliary will be holding their annual Christmas dinner on Dec, 6 at 6 p.m. followed by the December meeting.
