Carole -Michelle is the daughter of Clarence and Cecilia -Anne Foltz of London. The young couple will reside on the groom's farm north of St. Columban. The Staffa hall was filled to capacity as family members, relatives, neighbours and friends gathered to celebrate with well-known area resident, Lou Maloney, on the occasion of his 65th birthday. A social time was enjoyed by all with visiting and card playing. St. Columban talent and a family picture presentation. Frances Melady attended the recent wedding of her granddaughter, Lori Lynn Ryan, daughter of Patsy and Harry Ryan of London. Lori Lynn was married to Scott Webster at St. Peter's Basilica. Several area young people participated in the COR retreat weekend held in Dublin this past i weekend. The COR weekend retreat is facilitated for young people between the ages of 18 and 21, giving them the opportunity to come together, meet new friends and reflect on various aspects of their life and their faith. Submitter/ tin .Sara/,:Igor- SDHS Co -Prime Mi►rister 2000-200I Thieves steal 23 lawn ornaments A menagerie of 23 animal lawn ornaments were stolen from a residence on North St. in Egmondvillc on Oct. 2 at 8:30 p.m. Huron OPP say the lawn .ornaments had been left around the outside of the house: Taken from the yard were six raccoons. six small rabbits. four chipmunks, four foxes, one 15" squirrel, two baby bunnies 5" -tall and a steel green -coloured sundial. Anyone who can assist OPP in finding the stolen property is asked to call the Seaforth'office of the OPP or by contacting Crimestoppers. Liquor offence in Seaforth A 41 -year-old London man had his licence seizcJ and was charged v. ith a liquor offence on Sept. 29 at 10:30 p.m. after his vehicle was stopped in a RIDE 'program on Main Street in Seaforth. The driver was found with alcohol on his breath and blew a warn on the roadside device.
