will be meeting on Thursday,
Oct. 5 at 1:30 p.m. at the
Seaforth Legion Branch 156.
Citizenship Awards
The Seaforth Recreation and
Parks Department is once again
planning for the annual
Citizenship Awards.
This volunteer recognition is
presented to three valuable
citizens in the following
categories:
Service to Sports - A person
that volunteers his/her time to
sports organizations, or sports
in general in Seafosth.
Civic Service - A person that
belongs to a service club or
community organization in
which he/she contributes many
hotus of time for the
betterment of the community.
Humanitarian Service - A
person who is considerate of
mankind, and is willing to give
his/her time to help other
people.
Nominations for the above
awards are kept on file for
three years and all names from
the past three years will be
resubmitted for this year's
awards.
Anyone may nominate an
individual for any category by
submitting a written letter
explaining who is being
nominated, in which category.
