cenotaph.
This cenotaph represents
the graves of those men and.
women who in the First and
Second World Wars and
Korea gave their lives for the
freedom we enjoy in -Canada
and for those veterans who •
have died since the wars.
\\'e would ask those . •
responsible to stop and think
next time what the cenotaph
represents.

articles for the veterans.

the bags. Articles needed are
Kleenex. toothpaste,
toothbrushes. unscented soap.

cream. white socks with no
elastic, combs and playing
cards.
The Early Bird Campaign
is now underway. Be an early
bird and patiicipate in the
monthly draws for 2001
dues. There will be three
draws in September. four
draws in October and four
draws in November.

Tournament. They were

The Ladies Auxiliary to
Branch 156 hosted the Zone

24 teams entered.

The November meeting is to be a catered
dinner at Northside Church.
. Bonnie McTaggart was our speaker. Her
topic was on drying fruits and vegetables.
Her main reason for doing this is for
camping. She showed slides of her camping
trips and told how resourceful you can be
when you are carrying all your supplies. She
was thanked by Nancy and presented with a
gift.
Bob Budd of Goderich will be our speaker
for the October meeting which will also be
our visitor's night.
Hausers leave for India Oct. 13
BiII and 'viavis-Hauser have moved to Ingersoll and their schedule has been somewhat
hectic
They were recently in town for a ministerial barbeque and to visit with friends.
They leave Oct. 13 for Chilakaluripet India_ where the mission compound they will be
working at is located
Chilakaluripet is not in the flood area. A new church building was recently opened with
four thousand in attendance.
•The couple ran Seaforth Communitc Church until this spring when they decided to accept
missionary positions in India.
