The Seniors Monday
euchres will be starting on
Sept. 18 at 1:30 p.m.
Sept. 10, the Legion will
be hosting a dinner for the
public. Help and desserts
will be needed for this
event. Contact Ann Wood.
Once again, the Zone
Variety Show will be going
to Parkwood Hospital on
Sept. 30. Branch 156 will
be collecting articles for the
veterans there. Kleenex,
toothbrushes and paste,
unscented soaps; combs,
white socks, shaving cream
and disposable razors and
playing cards are needed.
Due to cutbacks, the
veterans now have to
"supply these articles
themselves. Please leave
donations at the Branch
before Sept. 27.
The executive meeting
will be held on Sept. 14 at
7:30 p.m. The general

47 shooters
Kippen Gun Club
On Aug. 27, the 23rd
annual Kyle -Cooper
Memorial Shoot was held
at the Kippen Gun Club.
Forty-seven shooters
came from as far away as
St. Thomas and Guelph.
Participants fired 100
shots from the 16 -yard
line to make up the
programs.
