larger than usual number of
older kids meaning some are
corning back from past -years
for another go at the school
that teaches everything from
fitness to skills on the ice
and includes a
goalies'school.
Nesbitt said- there . are
'twice as many goalies this
year as last for the school
----and—with-80 studentsalso an all-star team
registered in the second member, will be there with
week. he expects numbers to Ken Carroll. who has signed

McLlwain will be in town
starting today (Aug. 16) and
will finish up the first week
• of the school. He will stay

cover most costs
in restructuring
The. town of Seaforth
received-aprovincial grant
of $561.661 towards the
costs of amalgamating into
the new municipality of
• Huron. East with Brussels
and the townships of
Tuckersmith. McKillop and
Grey. • '
Town administrator Jack
McLachlin said the grant
will.. go towards any
necessary studies, signage,
moving costs..severences,
letterhead, renovations and a
new computer system..
"It should pay for the
majority of the costs. We're
very pleased." said
McLachlin.

be viewed at the Hullett Township -Municipal Office at .the
address hereinafter noted. The Council of the Corporation
of the Township will hear, inperson or by counsel or agent,
any person who claims their land will be prejudicially
affected by the said bylaw and who applies to be.heard at a
meeting to be held at the said Municipal Office on the 22nd
day of August 2000, at 8:00 p.m.

Seaforth.
Wes Vick returns to the,
school for his fourth year
and will be group leader for
the youngest section of.
students. He was with the.
Cullitons last year and'is
heading to St. Thomas this
season. .
Derek McKinlay of Port
Franks is coming after
playing Jr. B in Sarnia last
year and with ' OHL
experience in Sarnia. He was
also in the Western Jr.
Hockey League for Spokane,
Washington. -
Egmondville's Scott
Henderson is back for his
third year with the school:
coming from Sarnia and
Listowel. Jr. B action. He led
Listowel in goal scoring two
years ago.
Seaforth's Marc Glanville
is back for a second year
after playing Jr. B in St.
Marys.
the teaching staff this year
after being an assistant
instructor last summer.
Nesbitt sees a new group
of instructors coming
through the school who
could follow the' same path
of past instructors like NHL
linesman, Scott Driscoll who
was an instructor while
playing Jr. B hockey before
his career took him to the
national level:
McLlwain and all the
other instructors will take to
the ice this Thursday at 7:30
P.m. forthe annual
showcase hockey game
against a team of local,
hockey talent.
