Trucks banned from some streets Tractor trailers are prohibited from travelling on any Seaf?rth streets other than Main and Goderich Streets. with some exceptions. as a result of a new by-law passed Aug. 8 by Seaforth town council. "There is getting to be more and more heavy track traffic on residential streets and we have to do this for the maintenance of our streets," said town ,administrator Jack McLachlin. While tractor trailers are not allowed to travel the side, streets, they are allowed to make deliveries for commercial, industrial and institutional purposes. As well. local drivers are allowed to 'take their tractors home but must park their trailers at the parking lot near the railway tracks.
