Grant to fund local breast cancer screening Cancer Care of Huron is being given a Community Education Grant of 57,170 by the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) to fund "Rural Strategies for Increasing Breast Cancer Screening in Huron County." This project is composed of three activities: breast self- examination classes, a family physician information session. and media/information promotion. It builds on proven ,t:ategies of promoting health messages to Huron County ie-sidents. ' • "It was so exciting to get the news of the grant," says Tricia Wilkerson. Health -Promoter.
