Lawson said , adding that the process of implementing 9-1-1 can take a long time as those involved "tql to get all the errors out." Adding that it is all -of the - little items that slow down the process. she gave an example of a few errors or discrepancies 'that have been caught and have to b,e corrected before. 9-1-1 is implemented. She cited. for example. the .fact that Short Horn. the name used for a road that travels._e.ast-west through' Tuckersmith and Stanley Townships. is spelled diffe'ently in each township. "It is two words in Stanley, and . only one in Tuckersmith." she said, adding that in order to get the system in place. the two spellings will have to match. Another example she-. shared was with the spelling. of Londesborough.. or• Londesboro. With two different spellings in use for the village. sh'e said that municipality would have to make their choice, and then the same spelling will be used in the data base. on . signs and on maps.
