of talented and energetic -
people) entertained us with a
Mitchell Vegas Style Variety
Show which was thoroughly
enjoyed by all. The evening

by CWL ladies of the
parishes. - .
Some of the legendary
entertainers included Elvis
Presley, Johnny Cash.
George Burns and Sonny and
Cher. To top it all off. "The
- bishop and a group of "nuns.'
sang "My Guy!
Musicians given banquet
Queensway Nursing Home
We appreciate our
Volunteers all -year. but
Wednesday evening we'
honoured -our musicians and'
their spouses at a banquet at
Queensway. The activity
room was decorated in a star
theme withfloating candles
and spring flowers.
- On arrival guests enjoyed
fruit punch. wine and _
appetizer's w hile visiting with
their fellow musicians. At 7
p.m.. dinner Was.served.
Following dinner. -
Administrator. Cathic Schalk
- addressed the volunteers. '
emphasizing -the therapeutic
value of music and its ability
to reach all residents.
The musicians and their
spouses were thanked.
In the coming months
there will be more -volunteer
appreciation activities
planned as we continue to
recognize the invaluable
contributions they make.
